A quiet practice of looking.
Field Notes is an independent photography archive devoted to landscape and travel images. The work is made slowly — walking, waiting for light, and paying attention to the moments that usually pass unnoticed.
Most photographs are captured on full-frame or medium-format systems and finished with restraint. The intention is never spectacle, but atmosphere: the feeling of a place at a particular hour.
The collection remains intentionally small. Each image is given time and space rather than being added to an endless stream. Plates are arranged into collections that can be read in sequence, or opened one at a time.
